LOCATION

Casa Luna del Mar is located in Troncones town a 20 minute drive on a new highway from Ixtapa, Zihuatanejo which is serviced by an international airport (airport code ZIH).

The airport receives international and domestic flights daily including those from Alaska Airlines, United Airlines, Air Canada, Aeromexico, Delta and American Airlines. During winter months, Frontier, Canjet, Flysunwing, and Westjet also have flights.

Commuter flights from Mexico City and Toluca via domestic airline, Interjet and TAR further opens up flight options for international travelers looking for the best deal to get here.

Troncones is home to about 500 people who make their living mainly from the sea. Guided village walking tours are available from the Tropic of Cancer for a closer look at the schools, church, cemetery and the local way of life.
